3. What Should Be Included in the Cover Letter?

Your cover letter should clearly mention:

  • Purpose of travel (Tourism)
  • Travel dates
  • Cities and destinations you plan to visit
  • Who will bear the travel expenses
  • Employment details
  • Family ties and commitments in Bangladesh
  • Assurance that you will return to Bangladesh within the permitted period

4. How Much Money Should You Show in Your Bank Account?

There is no officially fixed amount required.

However, as a general guideline:

  • 10-day trip: BDT 400,000 – 600,000
  • 15-day trip: BDT 600,000 – 800,000
  • Family trip: A higher amount may be required

Most importantly, the source of funds should be legitimate, reasonable, and verifiable. Avoid making large, sudden deposits shortly before applying.

5. When Should You Apply?

It is generally best to apply 3 to 6 months before your planned travel date.

Important Reminder

Whether you apply on your own or through an agency, make sure to personally read, review, and verify every document before submission.
